As of September 30, 2008, Thomson Reuters credited Fasken Martineau with advising on 65 Canadian M&A transactions completed in 2008. This standing ties the firm for first place among all law firms globally for number of Canadian deals. Fasken Martineau was also credited with advising on 60 Canadian M&A deals announced in 2008, securing a second-place ranking among all law firms globally.
Fasken Martineau has remained among the top five law firms for number of Canadian M&A announced and completed deals over the last eight quarters.
